The University of Alabama, together with a statewide advisory committee, presents the 9th Annual Southeast Regional ADHD Conference, January 27 – 28, 2017at the Bryant Conference Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The conference will bring together a multi-disciplinary group of experts to share their research and interventions on ADHD.

In addition to keynote presentations by leading experts, Dr. Russell A. Barkley and Dr. Eugene Roehlkepartain, the program includes concurrent sessions planned for:

  • Mental Health/Medical Practitioners
  • Educators/Parents
  • Clinicians/Rehabilitation Specialists

Here is a great event for girls in the 4th and 5th grades along with their parents to learn about puberty and girls health. Please note that pre-registration is required. This will take place at Canterbury United Methodist Church, which is located at 350 Overbrook Road, Birmingham, AL 35213.

8th Annual Southeast Regional ADHD Conference

Dr. Joe Ackerson will be speaking at the 8th Annual Southeast Regional ADHD Conference in January of 2016. The program includes content specific to educators, counselors, parents, adults with ADHD, mental health professionals and medical professionals. Also, DHR workers, social workers, school nurses, disability ministries and home school providers. Likewise, anyone involved in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation efforts of children and adults with ADHD will benefit from attending. To learn more about this event, click here.
