Neuropsychology
Biographical Information: Private Practice, licensed in Alabama. Dr. Griffith received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology from Finch University in 2002. He completed an APA-approved clinical internship in Neuropsychology at West Virginia University, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology at the University of Alabama. His Fellowship involved clinical and research activities with the UAB Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and the UAB Epilepsy Center Dr. Griffith received his board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology in 2006. He is a member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, the American Psychological Association, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the Alabama Academy of Neurology. He is the author of nearly 50 scholarly papers and book chapters and has been recognized by the International Neuropsychological Society for his contributions to research in the area of memory disorders.
Services Offered
Dr. Griffith’s clinical specialties include memory assessments, particularly of persons at risk for Alzheimer’s disease and mild cognitive impairment. He also has expertise in assessing persons with movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, and cognitive problems in persons with epilepsy.
