
Elizabeth Bragg Bowling Lee, Ph.D.
Pediatric Psychology
Private Practice, licensed in Alabama. Dr. Lee received a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Rhodes College in 2002, before earning her PhD in Clinical/Medical Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2007. She completed a pre-doctoral internship in child and pediatric psychology at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO, and she then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Following her postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Lee became a member of the medical staff at St. Jude, where she worked as a clinical psychologist for 5 years, further specializing in behavioral pediatrics, psychological evaluation of neurocognitive and academic functioning, and children’s adjustment to chronic illness and related treatment. She and her family moved back to the Birmingham area in 2014, when she joined Ackerson and Associates.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Psychological Association and Division 54-Society of Pediatric Psychology.
Services Offered
Dr. Lee is available for psychological evaluation, therapy, and physician and school consultation. Her primary interests are in evaluation and treatment of ADHD and other learning problems, anxiety, adjustment and coping in children diagnosed with chronic medical conditions, pain management, concussions, and behavioral pediatric issues related to externalizing behavior, toileting, sleeping, and eating.
